Indian Creek Fall 2010

Wow, another great time climbing at Indian Creek this Fall. This place is so magical for me, the climbing and beauty of the desert is so inspiring and hanging in the desert with good friends is what makes this place even more special.  It always great to visit beautiful places and climb amazing routes but more importantly is who you share these experiences with, thanks to all who made this another great Indian Creek trip. Only negative is I did not take enough pictures.

Indian Creek Spring 2010

Sunset Dust Storm

I am currently at Indian creek in Utah. I am camping at the creek pasture area. I have been getting in some good days and some so so days of climbing, but all in all just hanging here in the Desert is a great a experience. Once of the highlights so far was sending "Beauty n the Beast" 5.12- a steep fingers to tips crack. The weather has been hit and miss with some rainy days and today I awoke to snow on the cliffs and ground. Planning on being here about another week then heading west.

Made it back home to Texas to spend Thanksgiving with the fam after spending the last few weeks in Indian Creek, Utah. Indian Creek has to be the best crack climbing area in the world, and having only climbed there once before, this is now definitely my favorite cragging area. We had a great group of climbers to hang out with in the creek as many of the people I met in Yosemite were there as well. Lots of fun, climbing long splitter cracks on great sandstone rock, with good friends and excellent camping, what more could a climber want. After climbing the "Lightning Bolt Cracks" on the North Six Shooter Tower on my last day, my body was completely destroyed, I had climbed 5 days in a row and my body needed some rest. So I am back in Texas for the month of December, then I will fly out to Chile on January 9th for some Patagonian adventure. Then back to the Creek in the Spring!
